Noah Brown C&C Sewing was established in 2003. Rita Auburger, a fashion graduate of International Academy of Design gained sewing and design experience working as a costume designer around the world for Club Med; in the Toronto film industry on shows such as wardrobe award winning “La femme Nikita”; “Earth The Final Conflict” and movies such as “John Q”, “Angel Eyes” and “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days”.
Starting a family, with the birth of “Noah Brown” took Rita in a new fashion direction. She sewed out of her home for Toronto fashion designers. She created a line of 100% silk corsets and bags with the “Noah Brown by Rita Auburger” brand and a baby line.
The baby line called “Noah Brown Mini Collection” is an earth-friendly line of innovative baby accessories. The business out grew the family home.
The business Noah Brown Custom and Contract Sewing moved to a store-front location at 318 Broadway/Blind Line in Orangeville. The staff including Rita Auburger and two more qualified seamstresses accept alterations, custom sewing, and home décor projects.
The front boutique is now a bridal and gift boutique carrying other designers’ lines such as tiaras, evening purses, jewellery and hand crafted jewellery by goldsmith and designer, Andrea den Elzen.
