About Us:
The Scented Drawer Fine Lingerie Boutique was founded on January 22nd, 2005 in Orangeville, Ontario by Owner Nicole Coon. It has been a passion of Nicole’s to work with men’s and ladies lingerie, sleepwear and loungewear for the past 14 years. She has extensive experience in store design, merchandising, marketing, product knowledge, selling and sizing of intimate apparel. However, through her various employment experiences, Nicole found that there was an inconsistency of knowledge and customer service within this very specialized field. It was this educational experience, and support of friends and family that lead her to the opening of The Scented Drawer.
The Scented Drawer’s philosophy is to provide the community of Orangeville and surrounding areas with a positive unique shopping experience. It is our goal to provide our clients with an educated decision when purchasing intimate apparel. We provide a non-aggressive, comfortable, relaxed atmosphere, and we are equipped with oversized fitting rooms for your comfort. Our extensive variety of brand name merchandise, from classic to exquisite, and sizes from petite to voluptuous will certainly provide our customers with a large selection to choose from. Our lingerie is elegant, alluring and truly feminine, combining flattering styles with exciting colours and fabrics. We also carry a variety of men’s designer loungewear and underwear in silk, Indian cotton, woven, terry and velour. Each of the employee’s at The Scented Drawer is trained to fit even the most unusual sizes perfectly, or if we don’t have your special brand or size, ordering is not a problem. If it is a gift you are purchasing for someone special, no problem, and gift-wrapping is done for your convenience upon your request. Also, if you’re looking for specialty items for Prom, Bridal, Maternity, Hosiery and accessories we have and extensive menagerie of items, from clear straps, silicone inserts, lingerie wash, stay-ups and scented drawer liners.
Our company also believes in supporting local artisans within the community. We at The Scented Drawer provide exquisite handmade Chinese Brocade Silk Corsets in an array of stunning colours and prints, and uniquely designed fashionable swimwear by Noah Brown Collections. In jewellery, the designs by Y-Knot are fashionable, beautiful and simplistic. Each piece is handmade and is crafted with Swarovski crystals, brightly coloured beads and tones in a variety of necklaces, earrings and anklets. In our bath and Body Section Westwinds Farm provides handcrafted soaps, sachets and bath products that will tempt even the most bath skeptic with pure vegetable glycerin all natural soaps and salts. The bath salts contain a melody of fragrance like Ylang Ylang, Rosa Centifolia, Lavender, Grapefruit, Rosemary and organic wildcrafted essential oils. It is with each of these Artisans combined with The Scented Drawer’s merchandise that you “our clients” will have a wonderful selection of unique gifts for yourselves or someone special.
