Our Mission:
Our Dance studio promotes fun and educational dance classes to children and adults of all ages! Our recreational and competitive programs encourage dancers to dance as a team as well as strive to be the best they can be, and improve individually. Our dance classes promote self-confidence and a higher level of fitness. We have classes for children starting at age 3, and up through teens and adults!
We have over 4000 sq. feet of studio space in our newly renovated Newmarket and Lindsay Locations.
Dance Programs Offered at C.D.A.
CDA offers classes for all ages! We offer a Mom and Tot class as well as a Toddler Intro to Dance class. All classes give students the opportunity to work in a group, learning and then performing their original routine in our annual recital! We offer a recreational program and a competitive program. Changes are always being made to add more classes and serve our students better. PLEASE visit or phone the studio as our schedule could accommodate YOU.
Recreational levels are based on age, unless teachers assess the student and place them in a higher level. Levels are Pre-primary - age 3, Primary - age 3-5, Level 1 - age 5-7, Level 2 - age 8-9, Level 3 - age 10-12 and Teen - age 13-19.
Competitive Categories are Pre-competitive - age 5-8, Junior - age 6-9, Intermediate - age 6-12, Elementary - age 13-15 and Senior - Age 15-19. Teachers may assess the student and place them in age category based on their ability. Students are chosen for the Competitive Team based on their commitment and ability as demonstrated in the Recreational classes. Auditions are also held for the Competitive Team.
